Avia Solutions Group Acquires Synergy Aviation to Strengthen Position in UK Aviation Market
Avia Solutions Group, a prominent ACMI provider, has acquired Synergy Aviation, a UK-based airline operator. Following the acquisition, Synergy Aviation will be rebranded as Ascend Airways. With an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Type B Operating License from the UK CAA, the acquisition allows Avia Solutions Group to strengthen its presence in the UK aviation market.
The establishment of a local AOC will provide new opportunities for the group's ACMI and charter services. The company plans to obtain a Type A Operating License, enabling the offering of ACMI and charter services with 180 to 200-seat capacity aircraft by the end of the year. source
